Description

A handsome garden shrub, Sambucus nigra 'Thundercloud' has dark, chocolate-purple leaves which colour up best in a sunny position and large clusters of rich pinkish-white flowers in summer.

A choice, colourful and vigorous border shrub which can be pruned hard if required.

Supplied Size: 3L container (30 - 50 cm tall)

• Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
• Soil: Any fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy.
• Flowering Period: June.
• Flower Colour: Pale pink
• Rate of Growth: Moderate to vigorous.
