Description
Native to parts of China, Japan and Korea, Rubus coreanus is an unusual plant with prickly, silver stems in summer which turn mahogany coloured in winter. The older stems stay the lovely dark colour in the following years.
Clusters of flowers in early summer are followed by edible yet small, dark red or purplish black fruit in late summer or early autumn. Rubus coreanus is an exciting and ornamental garden plant.
