Information Only - A vigorous, semi-herbaceous shrub bearing pure-white, fragrant flowers, up to 13 - 16 cm in diameter from July until October. Romneya coulteri is hardy and tough once established, but as a young plant it can be very fickle, sometimes difficult and may well require winter protection in cold areas. Most suitable for a sunny, sheltered and well drained, position.

During the first winter we recommend protecting the crown of Romneya coulteri with a wigwam of discarded Christmas tree branches to keep the crown both warm and importantly, dry.
