Description

A pretty, semi-herbaceous shrub, Phygelius x rectus 'Trewidden Pink' has bright green leaves and masses of dusky salmon-pink, tubular, flowers in summer.

Phygelius x rectus 'Trewidden Pink' is ideal for planting in a sunny flowering border and also grows well in a large container.

Supplied Size: 3L container (30 - 40 cm tall)

• Position: Full sun.
• Soil: Moist yet well-drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Not hardy. Phygelius x rectus 'Trewidden Pink' requires protection from cold winds and frost in the winter to survive outside in the U.K. and grows best in very mild areas.
• Flowering Period: July to October .
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: Small shrub with arching stems.

• Notes: If the top growth of Phygelius x rectus 'Trewidden Pink' is damaged by frost in the winter, cut the stems back to ground level in spring and it should regrow.
