Description
Available Autumn / Winter 2012 - With masses of dainty white flowers in late spring, Malus transitoria is a small, spreading tree which can be found in the wild growing in thickets on the slopes or hills in east Asia and China. The pretty flowers are followed by large numbers of single, small yellow-golden fruit in autumn.
In a good crisp autumn, Malus transitoria will also develop striking bronze-yellow autumn colour. A lovely and unusual small garden tree.
