Description

A popular and beautiful small tree, Laburnum x watereri 'Vossii' has masses of golden yellow, wisteria-like, trailing flowers in spring (up to 50 - 60 cm long).  

These colourful flowers are particularly eye-catching when the tree is grown against a dark backdrop and are followed by interesting, ornamental seed pods in autumn. A spectacular and reliable garden plant!

Supplied Size: 5L containers (freshly potted at 125 - 150 cm tall)

• Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy.
• Flowering Period: May - June.
• Rate of Growth: Moderate.
• Habit: Laburnum x watereri 'Vossii' grows to be a small tree with a branching, rounded crown.
  • Height: up to 8 m (26 ft).
  • Spread: 6 m (20 ft).

• Notes: All parts of Laburnum x watereri 'Vossii', including the flowers and seed pods are toxic and should not be eaten! This plant is a hybrid between Laburnum alpinum and Laburnum anagyroides.
