Description
Grown from seed, Koelreuteria paniculata is a small and ornamental tree with large clusters of yellow flowers in summer followed by bladder-like seed pods. The flowers are said to be attractive to wildlife, including bees and butterflies.
The leaves are pinnate (feather-like) and dark green, turning good shades of yellow before falling in autumn. A handsome and unusual garden tree once established.
