Description
First selected in Hungary in the 1980's,
Fraxinus ornus 'Meczek' is a very attractive selection with dark green leaves and a compact mop-shaped, rounded crown. The dark green leaves can show some colourful red or orange autumn tints before falling in autumn and in early summer it has attractive panicles of creamy white, scented flowers. A splendid tree for gardens with limited space!
