Description

Information Only - An eye-catching new introduction, Cercis canadensis 'Hearts of Gold' has clear golden-yellow, heart-shaped leaves in spring which darken to pale green later in the year. A scattering of pale purple-pink flowers appear on the bare stems in spring before the golden leaves emerge.

Cercis canadensis 'Hearts of Gold' grows to be an elegant garden plant and a great choice for giving a good display of foliage colour.

Looking for a large shrub or very small tree with similar golden foliage colour? Try Acer palmatum 'Katsura' or Gleditsia triacanthos 'Sunburst'
