Description

A rare hybrid hornbeam, Carpinus x schuschaensis has an attractive branching habit once established and deeply veined leaves. In autumn the leaves can turn pretty shades of red, orange or yellow before falling.

Carpinus x schuschaensis grows to be a desirable small, specimen tree.

Supplied Size: 3L or 4L container (80 - 100 cm tall)

  • Soil: Fertile, well drained soil.
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate.
