Description

One of the finest low, evergreen hedging plants; ideal also for topiary and knot gardens. The leaves are closely spaced, glossy and dark green and once established these plants will form a dense screen.

• Position: Full sun or partial shade.
• Soil: Any moist, fertile soil. This plant is very tolerant of soil pH and will grow in very alkaline soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy.
• Rate of Growth: Slow to moderate.
• Habit: Medium sized, rounded shrub if left unpruned.
• Height: up to 3 m (10 ft)
• Spread: 3 m (10 ft)
