Description

A rare plant in the UK, Berberis hypokerina is an evergreen shrub with dark green prickly leaves and once established clusters of pale yellow flowers in spring.

Berberis hypokerina is slow growing with a compact, rounded habit once established. Shelter from strong winds.

Supplied Size: 3L pots (approx 3 - 4 years old, 30 - 40 cm tall)

  • Soil: Most well drained, fertile soil. Berberis hypokerina does not usually enjoy wet or waterlogged soils.
