Description

Available Autumn/Winter 2018 An attractive upright large shrub or very small branching tree, Amelanchier 'Prince Charles' has masses of white flower in Spring and bronze young leaves, turning green in summer. These leaves turn eye-catching shades of orange and red before falling in autumn. Small fruit appear on the branches in early to mid summer.

A versatile large shrub or eventually small garden tree with year round interest which also encourages wildlife.

Supplied Size: 2L or 3L pots (approx 3 years old, 40 - 60 cm tall) - very limited availability this year


  • Position: Full sun or light, dappled shade.
  • Soil: Any well drained, fertile soil. 
  • Hardiness: Hardy.
  • Flowering Period: April.
  • Rate of Growth: Moderate.
  • Habit: Amelanchier 'Prince Charles'  grows to be a large shrub or very small branching tree.
