Description
Looking as though a tiger had used the tree to sharpen its claws,
Acer tegmentosum 'Joe Witt' has a particularly good bark, with masses of sinuous, chalky white lines running up the jade green bark. The large, bright green leaves can turn golden yellow in a good, crisp autumn. A superb vase-shaped garden tree with excellent winter interest.
