Description
A native of Northern China and Korea, Acer truncatum is an elegant, handsome and easy to grow tree with fantastic autumn colour. The leaves have five triangular lobes and emerge in spring tinted reddish purple, darkening to green in summer before turning vivid shades of yellow, orange, purple or red in autumn. An unusual and attractive garden tree in the U.K. with exciting autumn colours.
