Description
A spectacular, new weeping form of
Taxodium with long arching branches which originates from New Zealand. We find that
Taxodium distichum 'Cascade Falls' grows best when trained up a cane to the desired height and then allowed to weep to the ground. In spring the foliage is a lovely soft-green, in autumn it changes to a rich golden-brown colour before falling. A striking garden tree, this looks particularly lovely when allowed to weep gracefully over a pond or stream.
