Description

A native of North America, Pinus jeffreyi has handsome stout needles up to 8 inches long, slow growing and rare in the United Kingdom, eventually becoming a large tree. Conical when young, the needles are slender and grey-green in colour, appearing in bundles of three.

Mature trees produce large cones, up to 20 cm tall. Pinus jeffreyi is a lovely tree and a fine addition to a large garden or woodland area.

Supplied Size: 2L deep containers (young rooted seedlings only)

• Soil: Well drained, fertile soil.
• Hardiness: Hardy.
