An eye-catching climber, Hydrangea anomala subsp petiolaris 'Miranda' had green leaves edged with soft golden yellow variegation and once established, white lacecap-style flower clusters in early summer.
This is significantly slower growing than the classic Hydrangea anomala subsp petiolaris and therefore suitable for gardens with limited space. The golden variegation usually looks best in a position with partial shade. Not a plant for instant gratification.
