Description
A vigorous, twining, evergreen climber native to Central China, Holboellia latifolia has racemes of fragrant, greenish-white flowers in early summer. These flowers are sometimes followed by large, purple, sausage-shaped fruit in a warm year. The leaves are ovate and an attractive mid-green. An unusual climber with lovely, interesting flowers.
